On February 1, 2022, David Manchon took on the role of Executive Director for the Epilepsy Association, becoming the organization’s third person to hold the position.

Before this, he spent a decade working as the Director of Admissions at Bishop Moore Catholic High School (BMCHS). During his time there, David played a significant role in establishing the College & Career Center and supervised its growth. He was also an active member of the math department and held positions as head coach for wrestling and bowling, as well as an assistant track & field coach. Notably, he was the Hornet Football team’s Public Address announcer for 21 seasons.

Ceil joined the Epilepsy Association’s team in 2010, taking on the role of assistant to the Executive Director. Her responsibilities involve providing administrative support to the Executive Director while also serving as a liaison between program services and the Executive Director. Moreover, Ceil works as a client advocate and participates in epilepsy and seizure disorder education and awareness events.

Before joining the Epilepsy Association, Ceil spent almost 25 years at McNamara Pontiac, Inc., where she served as the Executive Assistant to the President and Owner. At the dealership, she organized community functions, managed customer service and safety programs, handled employee relations, and interacted with top executives, government officials, community leaders, and corporate CEOs.

Ceil is affiliated with several organizations, including the Children’s Safety Coalition of Orange County, Lake Villas Condominium Association, Sea Oats Condominium Association, Orlando Police Department, Orange County Sheriff’s Department, National Wild Turkey Federation, West Orange Chamber of Commerce, Orlo Vista Chamber of Commerce, Orlo Vista United Safe Neighborhood, and is a proud supporter of the University of Florida’s Gators.

Mike became a part of our team in 2017, initially working as an Orlando Care Coordinator, and has since been promoted to our Epilepsy Prevention and Education Program in February 2022. He is an asset to our organization, thanks to his diverse background that has allowed him to make positive contributions wherever he has worked.

Prior to joining us, Mike traveled the world as a Cruise Director, entertaining people from various countries and creating long-lasting memories for them. This experience, combined with his role as a Care Coordinator and his understanding of epilepsy, makes him the perfect person to educate the community about this condition.

Mike’s unique combination of skills and expertise enable him to serve our clients’ needs effectively, while also working to raise awareness and educate the public about epilepsy. His dedication and passion for his work are evident in everything he does, and we are fortunate to have him as a member of our team.

Christian has recently joined the Epilepsy Association team as our Communications Coordinator, beginning his role in early 2023. Before joining our organization, he gained experience in administration and project management with another local non-profit, One Heart for Women and Children. Additionally, he has had a distinguished career in the hospitality and service industry, specializing in working with and training emerging coffee shops. In addition, Christian’s experience as a freelance videographer, photographer, and graphic designer provides him with a broad range of creative skills that are highly relevant to his current role.

Christian’s passion for contributing to the greater good has drawn him to the non-profit sector, where he is eager to continue his impactful work. His expertise and enthusiasm make him a valuable addition to our team and we are confident that Christian will play an integral role in advancing the Epilepsy Association forward. Pachi Mangione has been a valuable member of the Epilepsy Association team since 1997. With a Bachelor of Public Administration from Barry University and an Associate’s degree in Mental Health from Texas, she also completed her Certification in Case Management in Florida.

Her extensive background includes Case Management, Residential Care, Mental Health, and Epilepsy, among others. As Lead Care Coordinator, Pachi has helped countless clients by providing information, referrals, support (both 1:1 and in support groups), and education to clients, their families, and friends.

Pachi’s fluency in both English and Spanish has been an invaluable asset, allowing her to assist clients and their families when a language barrier exists. She has also volunteered at numerous Association events, using her networking skills to promote the programs and work of the Association. Pachi’s connections have even led to several critical donations to the Association.

Jackie has been a dedicated member of the Epilepsy Association team since 2004, where she currently oversees the Brevard region. In her role, she provides exceptional care to clients in Brevard County while also managing the office there. Before joining the Association, Jackie made a significant impact in the field of parent education and child abuse prevention. Her experience and expertise have been invaluable assets to the Association’s mission of supporting those living with epilepsy and seizure disorders.
