♦ Kaire & Heffernan Community Scholarships for Florida Students
The attorneys at Kaire & Heffernan, LLC in Miami have recently launched Kaire & Heffernan Community Scholarship. The scholarship is being offered to Florida High School and Undergraduate students who have helped their local community by volunteering at non-profits. In addition to the scholarship, we will be making a donation to the non-profit organization where the scholarship winner volunteered their time

♦ Central Florida Epilepsy Scholarship Foundation’s Merle Evanchyk Epilepsy Scholarship
Purpose: The Central Florida Epilepsy Scholarship Foundation, Inc. (CFEF) is pleased to announce its “Merle Evanchyk” scholarship program and our desire to assist those affected by epilepsy living in our community with his or her pursuit of their goals through higher education. The purpose of this program is to provide financial support for the education of persons who have been, who are, affected by epilepsy in themselves or immediate family.
Award: The Central Florida Epilepsy Scholarship Foundation (CFEF) seeks to recognize the personal achievements of those living with epilepsy. The CFEF will offer scholarships ranging from $1,000 – $2,500 for post-secondary education, advanced college education or post-secondary vocational education.
Vision: A recipient of a CFEF “Merle Evanchyk” scholarship will be a person having received a diagnosis of epilepsy who shows perseverance in overcoming obstacles that epilepsy may present, courage in dealing with epilepsy, his/her community involvement, their commitment to personal advancement through education and achieving his/her personal goals.

We are offering an annual sponsorship award of $1,000 for U.S. high school seniors seeking a degree in an accredited four year university/college as well as first year students. The program will be awarded for the first time in 2016, and will continue annually to provide opportunity and support in the form of financial awards to students working to build skills and advance their education for use in service of their communities.
