Parents Support Group, If you're a parent of a child with epilepsy, you also need to feel acceptance. You may feel guilty because you're not patient enough or you don't spend enough time with your child. When you meet other parents with the same challenges, you can learn that it's impossible to be a perfect parent. It's not wrong to have angry feelings or to wish for more time for yourself. It's just human. Parents in a support group can help each other to do better without feeling like a failure because they can't do it all.
